Press Release Body: Los Angeles, CA, July 07, 2008 -- Desert Road Publishing is
pleased to announce the release of the political comedy \"The Yale Diaries\" by David
Miguel Estrada. The book will be available to purchase July 4, 2008 at
www.desertroadpublishing.com. For more information visit www.davidmiguelestrada.com.

\"The Yale Diaries\" is a political comedy about the unlikely friendship between
George W. Bush and John Kerry at Yale University in 1966. Kerry and Bush have taken
an immediate disliking to one another. Little do they know they share an
inextricable bond that makes all their differences trivial. That bond is the
Brotherhood of Death, the Skull & Bones Society. When Margaret Lerner, a beautiful
Yale undergrad, dies suspiciously, George and John become close friends while hiding
the truth behind her murder. Cameos are made by Howard Dean, Bill Clinton, and
Hillary Rodham when the only party they subscribed to was the kind that supplied
large amounts of alcohol.

Show Business Weekly calls him \"...a maverick writer-actor-director.\" The
Austin-American Statesman writes, \"...engaging throughout.\" Dennis Safren, Literary
Director of First Stage and author of the critically-acclaimed play \"Straights!\"
hails Estrada as \"...one of the most exciting young voices in theatre.\"

The playwright, who hails from Texas, has had seven productions of his plays mounted
in New York and Los Angeles including \"You Ain\'t No Johnny Cash\" and \"God, Man, &
Stan.\" Both plays are to be published later this year by Desert Road Publishing.

Estrada, the son of an Army officer and a stage actress, is the youngest of a
theatrical family that includes two other playwrights who have also had their plays
produced in New York. Joey Reynolds of the nationally-syndicated WOR Radio warns,
\"Don\'t mess with that family!\"

In a recent radio interview, Estrada elaborated on the political aspect of the play,
stating, \"A lot of people are turned off by the word \'political.\' I like to think of
it as a play about two young men who happen to one day become politicians. At this
point in their lives they are just dreamers. There is no telling what they are going
to do in the future. That\'s the beauty of the play.\"
